Triisobutyl phosphate/Tributyl phosphate (TIBP/TBP)
Can be added to slurries to both inhibit foam formation and destroy existing foam, supplied in liquid concentrations. Aluminium stearate is used specifically as a defoamer in water-based drilling fluids, providing transparency, stringiness, and water repellency, and resists high temperatures.
