Triisobutyl Phosphate (TIBP)
A clear, colorless liquid derived from isobutyl alcohol and phosphoric acid. Used as a defoamer and penetrant in gypsum-based products such as drywall and plaster, reducing foam formation/persistence and improving wetting and spreading for a smooth, uniform finish.
