Benzoic Acid

A white, crystalline organic compound derived from benzoin resin or synthesized from toluene. Commonly used in the production of aluminium complex greases for high-temperature applications such as electric motors, compressors, and bearings. Reacts with aluminium hydroxide to form aluminium benzoate, a thickener providing water resistance, thermal stability, and anti-corrosion properties.
