Ammonium Polyphosphate Phase II (APP-II)

A halogen free fire retardant used in water and solvent based paints and coatings. Decomposes above 300°C to polyphosphoric acid, dehydrating polyols/carbohydrates and forming a foamed-up solid heat protective barrier.
